Inside Emre Ahmed’s Summer Internship at M.B Restaurant, The Ritz-Carlton, Tenerife
Last summer, our now second year student Emre Ahmed had the incredible opportunity to embark on an enriching internship journey at The Ritz-Carlton, Abama, Tenerife, where culinary magic happens at the renowned M.B restaurant boasting 2 Michelin stars. Under the mentorship of Chef Erlantz Gorostiza, Emre delved into the world of gastronomy, experiencing firsthand the artistry behind the creations of culinary maestro Martín Berasategui.
Emre’s internship wasn’t just about observing – he dived headfirst into the kitchen, honing his skills amidst dishes brimming with passion, technique, and the flavors of Tenerife’s finest ingredients. He embraced every moment, soaking in knowledge and gaining invaluable confidence in his abilities.
Reflecting on his experience, Emre shared, “It was an unforgettable journey. I learned, I grew, and I emerged with newfound skills and a deeper love for the culinary arts.” His dedication and enthusiasm exemplify the spirit of our Culinary Arts Institute, where we foster not just talent but a passion for excellence.
