Scones recipe

What would be a holiday time without the fun of preparing something at home? We asked our chef-instrictors for a recipe that to meet everyone’s taste, take just minutes to prepare as you are busy with exams (are you?) and that does not require professional skills… So, here we go: a simple recipe for Scones:
FLOUR – 0.260 kg
BAKING POWDER – 0.017 kg
SALT – 0.005 kg
SUGAR – 0.067 kg
BUTTER – 0.083 kg
CREAM – 0.070 kg
EGG – 0.050 kg
To taste – DRIED FRUIT / GARNISH
METHOD OF PREPARATION
- WARM THE OVEN @375 ºF / 190ºC.
- MIX TOGETHER THE FLOUR, BAKING POWDER, SUGAR AND THE SALT.
- CUT IN THE BUTTER IN THE MIX #2.AND MIX TOGETHER.
- ASIDE, MIX THE CREAM AND THE EGG TOGETHER.
- ADD THE LIQUID TO THE SOLID.
- ADD THE GARNISH.
- MIX IN BY HAND BUT DO NOT OVERMIX.
- COOL IN THE FRIDGE FOR 20 MINUTES,
- TURN THE DOUGH ON A FLOURED SURFACE.
- ROLL OUT TO 5 CM THICK.
- CUT IN CIRCLES WITH A FLOURED MOLD.
- BAKE FOR 15 MINUTES OR UNTIL COOKED
- COOL OFF ON A RACK.
