The Culinary Arts Institute (CAI) at Varna University of Management prepares students for professional careers, offering the only accredited programmes in Eastern Europe that allow for the acquisition of higher education in the fields of hospitality and culinary arts. Students receive a diploma from Varna University of Management and a British diploma from Cardiff Metropolitan University, UK.
The training is practice-oriented and characterised by innovation, research elements, and an unconventional approach to culinary arts. Along with academic knowledge and practical skills, students have a unique opportunity to gain experience in fine Michelin-starred restaurants, working alongside some of the world’s most renowned and recognised chefs.
The CAI team includes international and Bulgarian chef instructors with extensive practical experience, who go a step beyond the “standard culinary arts studies” and closer to the arts. Focusing on creativity, they cultivate generations of innovators, culinary designers, and food ideologists.
