Culinary Arts Institute Visits Beer Fest – PivoVarna 2024: Culinary Delights and Spectacular Demonstrations

During PivoVarna 2024, the Culinary Arts Institute showcased incredible culinary demonstrations that wowed the numerous guests at the festival. The institute’s chef instructors, Chef Hugues, Program Director and Head Chef-Instructor, and Chef Kaloyan, demonstrated innovative techniques and perfect pairings of food and beer.
Chef Hugh captivated the crowd with his sous-vide beef, slow-cooked in dark beer and served with velvety mashed potatoes—an absolute delight for the senses. Equally memorable was Chef Kaloyan’s grand show, where he created beer ice cream using liquid nitrogen. The impressive performance and stunning flavors left a lasting impression on everyone present.
Alongside their assistants—second-year students from the Culinary Arts Institute—the chefs showcased that culinary art is more than just a profession; it’s a true form of creativity, combined with attention to detail and innovation.
