  3. VUM organises a charity masterclass in support of the Karin Dom Foundation

The Culinary Arts Institute at Varna University of Management is organising a special charity masterclass titled ‘Bakes and Cookies’, dedicated to the cause of Karin Dom Foundation.

The initiative is part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of both institutions – VUM and Karin Dom. As a sign of solidarity with the foundation’s mission, all funds raised during the event will be donated in its support.

The minimum donation for participation in the masterclass is €30, and participants will also have the opportunity to contribute a larger amount if they wish. Donations will be collected only on the day of the event and in cash, with no options for card or bank transfer payments.

Those wishing to participate can register via the online form:

Karin Dom Foundation is a non-governmental organisation founded in 1994 by diplomat and philanthropist Ivan Stanchov. It is named after his cousin Karin, who was born with cerebral palsy and has become a symbol of strength, compassion, and humanity.

The organisation began its work in 1996 with the aim of establishing a British-model centre providing comprehensive support to families of children with disabilities and offering modern therapeutic services aimed at preventing institutionalisation.

The event seeks not only to raise funds but also to encourage public engagement and support for the foundation’s long-standing mission.

The initiative is implemented with the financial support of the Municipality of Varna.
