Slow Food
The international Slow Food movement officially founded in Paris, and the Slow Food Manifesto signed in 1989 as a counterpoint of fast food chains and their destructive influence on the local traditions and culture, related to agriculture and food. The philosophy of Slow Food can be express in three words: Good, Clean and Fair. According to this philosophy, food should be made out of quality products, produced in an environmentally friendly way, and, of course, food should be tasty. Today Slow Food is in Bulgaria as well, and globally, the organisation has branches in more than 150 countries, reaching millions of people all over the world.
