Visit from “P. R. Slaveykov” primary school

We started this week with some guests from “P. R. Slaveykov” Primary School in Varna – 6 “G” class, together with their class leader- Mrs Svetlana Naydenova. The kids met our team and took a tour around the Institute building – they visited our conference and study halls and, of course, our kitchen.

We talked about some interesting facts about the university: for example, our library – we do not have so many books in it because a big part of our students’ learning material is uploaded online. The most interesting part of the visit was the tour around the kitchen with Chef Kris Zysk – the sixth-grade students saw different types of equipment: inductions that heat up to boiling temperature for 10 seconds, special ovens and the best of all – how to make cotton candy.
