Culinary Arts Institute visit to the prestigious Ducasse pastry school Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Patisserie, France
This July our Programme Director Chef Hugues Bouten and Chef Vasil Yakimov had the great opportunity to visit the world renowned Ducasse Pastry school Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Patisserie (ENSP) in Yssingeaux, France where they discussed different collaboration options.
Since its inception in 1984, Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Pâtisserie (ENSP) has become renowned for its globally recognized expertise in the field of pastry training. Part of Ducasse Education – the leading global organization of professional and pre-professional culinary and pastry arts schools – ENSP offers bachelor degrees and diploma programs that emphasize practical learning of techniques with precision, innovation and rigorous skills-based methodology.
The ENSP training center is located within the exquisite Castle of Montbarnier, in Yssingeaux, where more than 1550 students and trainees per year study in 8 spacious pastry labs, demo theater and number of additional class rooms. There are 10 full-time chef-nstructors at ENSP and more than 100 recognized international guest instructors.
During their visit at ENSP chef Bouten and chef Yakimov shared the vision for further development of the Culinary Arts Institute at Varna University of Management and exchanged information ideas on collaboration activities, student exchange and joint project development that to enhance the learning opportunities and skills of the students of both schools.
