New Collaboration between the Culinary Arts Institute and Stone Forest Winery

We are pleased to announce the new partnership between the Culinary Arts Institute and Stone Forest Winery. On October 16, 2024, our Program Director and Head Chef Instructor, Hugues Boutin, together with Chef Instructors Kaloyan Kolev and Stanislav Kubarev, visited the winery, where they tasted a variety of wines produced by local growers.
Purpose of the Visit
The purpose of the visit was not only to familiarize ourselves with the unique production process of Stone Forest Winery, but also to select suitable wine varieties to include in the Institute’s curriculum. With our commitment to providing our students and clients with only the best of Bulgarian culinary arts and winemaking, we believe that this collaboration will enrich the educational experience at the Institute.
Impressions from the Tasting
During the tasting, the chefs were impressed by the variety and quality of the wines. Hugues Boutin shared: “Each wine variety tells its own unique story and reflects the richness of Bulgarian culture. It’s fascinating to see how tradition and innovation can coexist in the modern winemaking process.”
Kaloyan Kolev expressed gratitude for the opportunity to work with local producers who are dedicated to preserving quality. “This tasting is truly inspiring. Wine is an art that should be appreciated and studied.”
Stanislav Kubarev added: “We eagerly look forward to integrating wines from Stone Forest into our culinary tastings. This is an incredible opportunity for our students and clients to experience authentic Bulgarian flavors.”
