A Month of Growth and Creativity at CAI

Every January, our students step away from their usual schedule to embrace new challenges and opportunities for growth. Ordinarily, their routine consists of theoretical lectures and preparing for the weekly dinners hosted at the CAI training restaurant. However, this January brought something extra special. In addition to their end-of-semester exams, our students were immersed in a variety of enriching experiences designed to broaden their skills and prepare them for future success.
Highlights from This Month’s Activities
Pastry Masterclasses with Guest Chef Petko Kostadinov
Under the guidance of renowned guest chef Petko Kostadinov, our students explored the art of pastry-making at an advanced level. From mastering classic techniques to learning creative and contemporary trends in confectionery, these hands-on sessions provided invaluable expertise to those aspiring to excel in this sweet culinary domain.
Photography Classes with Head Instructor Stanislav Kubarev
In a world where digital presence is key, our students had the privilege of participating in photography workshops led by chef-instructor Stanislav Kubarev. These sessions were integrated into the “Social Media Marketing for Chefs” module, enabling students to refine their visual storytelling skills. The culmination of this module required them to use their newly acquired knowledge to design a professional website, showcasing their culinary creations in the most captivating way.
A Focus on Professional Development
These additional classes are part of our commitment to providing a holistic and future-oriented education. By integrating diverse modules and activities into the curriculum, we ensure that our students are equipped with a wide range of skills that open doors to numerous career opportunities in the culinary arts and beyond.
A Word of Gratitude
None of this would be possible without the dedication and expertise of our incredible team. We extend our heartfelt thanks to:
- Hugues Boutin, the Program Director of CAI, for his vision and leadership.
- Stanislav Kubarev and Kaloyan Kolev, our talented chef-instructors, for their commitment to excellence in education.
- Our guest chefs, who generously shared their knowledge and passion for the culinary arts.
Their combined efforts have made these additional activities an integral part of our students’ journey, helping them grow into well-rounded, confident, and capable professionals.
At CAI, we believe in nurturing not just culinary talent but also creative and entrepreneurial skills, preparing our students to thrive in a competitive and ever-evolving industry. This January was yet another testament to our mission of empowering the next generation of culinary innovators.
