Open Days of the Culinary Arts Institute, part of Varna University of Management, in Sofia
On 24 and 26 February, for another consecutive year, the Culinary Arts Institute at Varna University of Management (VUM) will host Open Days in Sofia. The event is made possible with the support of the Institute’s long-term partners, METRO Academy, who are providing their professional facilities in the capital.
The event will feature the Director of the Institute and Head Chef Instructor Hugues Boutin, together with students Sandrina Yaneva and Miroslav Darvenyakov. They will present original recipes prepared with high-quality Bulgarian products supplied by METRO. The young culinary professionals will share their personal experiences from their studies in the programmes “Gastronomy and Culinary Arts” and “Hospitality and Culinary Arts”, as well as insights from their internships in Michelin-starred restaurants.
During the Open Days, the VUM team will provide detailed information about the educational programmes, application requirements and deadlines, as well as the advantages of studying at Varna University of Management. Visitors will also have the opportunity to learn more about the British degree awarded by Cardiff Metropolitan University, a partner of VUM for over 15 years, and about the international internships under the Erasmus+ programme, which all VUM students do.
